    Initial Consultation & Fertility Testing

    During your first visit, your physician will take your medical history, review any previous treatments or test results, and answer any questions. 

     

    Before determining the right plan for you, it’s important to uncover key insights about your fertility health. As part of your fertility consultation, we may recommend and schedule the following tests:

    • A physical exam, endocrine testing and blood work
    • Ultrasound, abdominal and transvaginal
    • Mucus evaluation
    • Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)
    • Sonohysterosalpingogram
    • Laparoscopy
    • Sperm wash assessment
    • Sperm DNA damage
    • Sperm binding assay

    Treatments & Solutions

    In general, we opt to start with simpler treatments and consider more involved procedures only as needed. Our team will guide you through each procedure and provide options that best suit your medical needs, emotional comfort and financial situation.

    • Cycle monitoring 
    • Medication for conditions such as PCOS 
    • Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) 
    • In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

    Donor & Surrogacy Options

    You may learn through fertility testing, or you may already know because of your circumstances, that you could benefit from third-party reproduction support.

    • Egg Donation – Recommended when you are unable to conceive with your own eggs, but would like to carry a pregnancy and give birth 
    • Donor Sperm – Recommended for male factor infertility, single females and same-sex female couples wishing to create a family
    • Gestational Carrier (Surrogacy) – A path for those who are unable to carry a pregnancy to term or have a uterine issue which may cause early delivery or reduce the chance of success
